Adam, I know you're not the type to get on the television and just talk about the princes of greed...

I've been listening to the show since it first aired; I remember the switch from in-studio to live, and how much it added. Here's hoping the move to TV does a similar number!

(But tell Karl that he does not need to wear that bikini to impress us.)

Hey, Adam!! Mozal Tov, Bubbie, on getting your radio show moved up to TV!!! If you buy me a couple of beers sometime, I'll listen to how you did it. In the meantime, let me give you a chance at getting in on the ground floor (OK, the bargain basement) on this marvelous, limited time offer for my video tape - "How to Connect, Plug in, and View Your First Video Tape on Your VCR!"

Listen, liebchen! Americans are busy these days running from job (OK, not so many are doing that anymore), to the Emergency room with their children's hockey rink injuries (only to be denied admittance for lack of insurance and told to "suck it up and grow a new tooth, you big crybaby!" by the attending physician), to long, slow moving lines at the gas station. People can't always sit down and watch TV when their favorite shows are on, so now there is a way for them go on with their exciting lives and watch your show later at their own convenience!! This tape is the same classic we've been selling for over a decade now (only one or two a year, but still...) and, though, true, it doesn't get into the difficult and challenging steps to program and record your wonderful show, not to worry! That damning omission is not listed on the outside label!!!

These puppies are ready to be adopted, and your show is just the place for their first TV offering! Call me, Adam!! Our time is running out on this technology and I'm <em>dying</em> here!!!!

(Oh, and try to discourage your lovely mother from getting one of these tapes. I think she's still steamed at me for those cases of "Deported Italian Napa Gel Balls" I sold her a few years back.)

Not that it hasn't been ugly up until this point, but with a month to go and behind in the polls, the republican campaign is crossing lines that shouldn't ever be crossed:

(this has shown up in lots of news sources...this just happens to be the ones I grabbed)

and an article I wish McCain would have to respond to:

I'm off to take a shower.....ugh.

OK, it looks like gillian is back and ready to reclaim her rightful place in the comedic pecking order. So, one more from me and I'm back in the shadows again. This one is weirdly strange. Get the kiddies out of the room before you play it. These are not the kind of ideas we should be presenting to this nation's hope for the future.

Aunt Sam, thanks for the link! I was out for a run early this morning, listening to songs off of the "Live in New York City" album on my iPod ... my favorite being the live version of "Youngstown"

<i> "... them smokestacks reachin' like the arms of God/Into a beautiful sky of soot and grey ..." </i>

Chris, I don't think that was a chunk of sky on the front lawn, it's <strike>election</strike> harvest season and the nuts are coming down in droves.

The reich-wing must have people employed full-time to challenge videos on YouTube. The video at KeatingEconomics.com is no longer embedded but is now a download.

Orwell was right [again]. Those who control the intertubes control history.
