After taping a few more episodes of “Lewis Black’s Root of All Evil” (it’s really a good time, by the way), I’ll be heading east next week to guest host “Wait Wait.” Twice.
Don’t panic, Peter’s fine. As long as NPR pays the ransom, he’ll be back in a couple of weeks. After which I’ll go back to being a panelist. A very rich paneli- no, I’ve said too much. Excuse, me, I’ve got to go ready the cag– er, the cat. I’ve got to go feed the cat.

2Is that show all prewritten, or do the actors improvise some?
How does it go down over there?

4I don’t know how you comedy writers do it, day after day and week after week. How can you keep coming up with the funnies when things like this are happening in real life?

5OK, Adam, I’m rearranging my Saturday morning so as not to miss this one. And since it’s already in the can (or whatever you call it when its radio), I’m assuming you kicked ass, although its easier to kick ass as a panelist than as the host. Still, definitely looking forward to this one.

7OK, in my excitement I got a week ahead of myself. My god, Roxanne kicked ass in the Lightning Fill in the Blank segment, and I think I heard Carl say something about cutting somebody’s nuts off. Carl must be one really bad-assed dude. Think he does contract work? I’m thinkin’ the Dickster.

9Yeah Felber! You did a great job hosting the show last week, I can’t wait to hear this weeks tommorow!
You are way better than Luke as a guest host!

10Good job on hosting but I’m calling you out for not crediting Eddie Izzard for your “Ich bein ein” cruller remark.
