It’s been a while since I’ve updated my links, particularly those under “The Funny.” What’s so unpardonable about this is that “The Funny” are my friends, my homeboys and homegirls, my partners in comedy. And many of them now have websites that I’ve never told you about. My apologies. Here, then, is some of the new hotness:
Brody Stevens has had his site for a while. Brody KNOWS people. Takes their PICTures. Has unique DICtion.
Sean Conroy followed me out to L.A., moving just weeks after I did. I haven’t mentioned this to him yet, but it’s pretty obvious. He’s a funny man, consistently and reliably un-cheerful, and as obsessed stalkers go I have to say he pays surprisingly little attention to me.
Media Yenta is back! I can’t tell you much about Media Yenta, for his/her identity must be kept secret. MY works in “the business.” MY has “the dirt.” MY is “savvy.” MY’s spelling is “greatly improved.”
Todd Levin IS “tremble.com.” He’s been on the web for a while, and you may well have read him before. But did you know that he’s my friend? Yes, it’s true. The two of us spent one magical season together, shipwrecked on an island paradise, shyly taking our first tentative steps towards manhood together… Well, not really. But we’ve had drinks several times, at least. That has to count for something.

1Adam:
Will you be coming to the show in Orlando? It’s lovely here in April. Join us, please.

2And the Republicans took down another hated Democrat, the mayor or Orlando, but they waited until the statute of limitations protected Glenda Hood and other Republicans. The upshot - Orlando is being purified, and the Party of God can likely reclaim city hall, just as it reclaimed the governorship of California.
God’s in his Heaven and all’s far right with America.

3David - I know, I know. But when you have a millionare bar owner, Kevin Mulvanny, leading the fight, well, you know you’re going to have to throw in the towel.
Even more fabulous is that Gov. Bush managed to jump right in, taking a moment away from fighting to save Terry Schiavo, and relieve Mayor Dyer of his position. It’s funny that when Seminole County republicans “fixed” absentee ballots during the 2000 election he didn’t feel the need to get involved. And you really can’t expect him to look into Congressman Feeney taking illegal trips to Korea and Scotland.
But the azaleas are blooming in the City Beautiful.

4Sadly, I’m not on the Orlando show. I love the city, have performed there, and love a good roller coaster (and the new Universal park has several). But alas, it ain’t to be.
I WILL be in San Diego in early May. Wait Wait giveth, and Wait Wait… well, Wait Wait mostly giveth.

5Yeah, azaleas really are proof that Lobster still loves us. Adam, it won’t be the same, proving that Lobster is also a tease.

7Thanks for the tip about the San Diego show, Adam. I’ll be there! Anyone else from this area?
