- Our stuff still hasn’t arrived. Oh, it’s in California, mind you. It’s been here for days. It’s just not at our particular address.

- Being isolated from TV, radio, newspapers, the internet, all my books, and magazines gives me a unique perspective on the presidential campaign. Suddenly, it all seems remarkably civil, issues-oriented, and fact-based. I hope the trend continues when I plug back in.

- My mom’s new book is out, in stores, now! Go:

The Earl? He’s back.

- From a quick glance at Peter’s postings, it appears that some scurrilous thugs at some so-called “networks” and “major newspapers” are once again trying to impugn our President’s National Guard service. Using, so-called “facts” and so-called “hard evidence,” they’re trying to tar our Commander in Chief with the so-called “truth.” This will not stand.

- Looking below, I can do Peter’s evidence-attackers one better and PROVE that the Killian memos are a fraud. Look at the memos. Written in modern English, aren’t they? Great spelling too, right? Hmmm, quite a feat, considering that modern English spelling wasn’t standardized until 1975! A real memo from that time would have read, “Memoe Conserning the Dutief and Perambulasionf of Mr. Bushe.” Let’s see how the demagogues worm out of THAT one.
