As you may have heard, I’m fleeing the scene of the Republican National Convention. SO anti-RNC am I, in fact, that I’m moving to Los Angeles in protest.
And campaigning across our great land, of course, yes. Campaigning.
As it happens, I busted my laptop this week (and made it LOOK like an accident to boot), so there will be no road missives for you. Instead, I have something infinitely better - a guest blogger of enormous distinction. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you my running mate and host of “Wait Wait,” the next Vice President of the United States of America…. Peter Sagal.
Have fun, kids, and remember that Peter and I have a vision for a better America. An America that puts you first and always remembers to put the seat down. An America where your needs are what really matters. An America that loves you for what you are and isn’t just trying to get you into bed. Really. Our America respects you, our America really cares for you, and our America thinks that you look particularly beautiful tonight. Why don’t you make yourself comfortable while our America fixes you a drink?
Er… anyway, have a great week and a great convention. Mr. Sagal? You have the com.
