Just like getting a TX FBI Agent to ask for the Democratic candidates donor list so that suspicion is cast based on "story of the day" news coverage and Rove' candidate can get some breathing room (See "Bush's Brain" re the railroading of Hightower). It doesn't matter what's found, just asking gets the press involved and the target off his boy's back for just a bit - a CLASSIC Rove move. Ask for Kerry’s medical records.
