So where were you 2 weeks ago when I WAS in Chicago?
And how come you're not in the Washington WWDTM broadcast, where I COULD pick you up, take you to the show, treat you and your pals to dinner and all the fine wine and liquor you could ingest, with free gifts and gorgeous blon(as long as you're not coming I can make this sound as good as I want).

Keep me informed when you're in the Balto-Wash area.

People in the city always forget that there's a whole state up and slightly to the left of them, of which they are officially residents. Why don't you come to Syracuse sometime?

Hey, historyenne, WWDTM *is* coming to Syracuse (Mulroy Civic Center at the Oncenter) in the near future. Some Thursday night, but I don't know which; I threw out the brochure because that's the night of my boyfriend's weekly gig, and I'm too big a baby to drive the 60 miles myself, esp on a school night.
I don't know if you're scheduled for that show, Adam, but if so, you're welcome to do the 60 mile drive and visit us in Ithaca. We've got plenty o' bourbon on hand, and other delights...

The only upcoming show that I KNOW I'm in is this week's. Washington seems to be a no-go for me.

Future shows? Who can tell? I suppose you can email the Powers That Be, but I'm not sure that'll have much effect on their decision making, which is inscrutable in its methods, balanced in its implementation, and unfailingly and terribly just.

In other words, I get at least 3/8ths of the live show bookings. If you count the silly panelist caricatures on the web site, you'll see that this is indeed the Fraction of Justice.

That said, feel free to email 'em in an attempt to influence which shows I get sent to. That's fine by me; I'm flexible.

On live WWDTM, I can report the following of interest to those of us the left coast:

Thursday, November 18, Asilomar Conference Grounds, Pacific Grove, CA, in association with KAZU

Adam, the California Central Coast is a lovely place at that time of the year!

Sometime in the 2004-2005 season of Cal Performances (from today's SF Chronicle):

'NPR's popular news quiz show WWDTM which will be recorded with the audience at Zellerbach Hall'

Since I'm equidistant between the two, Adam, I'll check the bourbon supply! Oh, and if you can remember the 2001 Fall WWDTM Fundraiser, I was on that show, recorded right after Labor Day 2001 and then due to circumstances beyond our control wasn't run until later in October. Don't know if you keep copies of the shows, but if you want one with you, Charlie, and Sue playing, and featuring the fellow who is the voice of Homer Simpson, let me know!
