“We have met the enemy and he is us”.

But at least we know who the enemy is. Now all we need to do is load up those 500# bombs.

BOOYAH!

adam you got me, you really got me with that one. i knew there would be a comical twist but that was grand.

and on a sidenote. has anyone seen bush’s speeches these days? i saw one of him in the olde country.. i mean its one thing to not write your own speeches.. its another thing to fumble when you talk impropmtu… but when you cant say things like westchester? in a written monologue? come on! this is going to be such a big election

Sometimes I don’t know who’s scarier Rumsfeld or Rove?

Once again, Adam rules!!!!!

Saw it coming, Adam, but I enjoyed the trip anyway.

Very good work!

The picture without the balloons is excellent. It shows Bush’s ability to project the same presence whether he’s speaking or not, thinking or not, whatever or not.

Chicory.. They are both scary… the real question is, Who is more evil? Let me get out my handy dandy evil o meter and we can settle this once and for all.. Let me plug in a couple of variables here and see what we get.. Rumcake… powerful military at disposal, sets military policy on death squads, takes orders from above. Is able to spin blame towards unsuspecting governmental agencies. Rovesputin…. sets policy for the president… politically and militarily, breaks law and gets away with it.. runs the whitehouse 8 months of year when prez is on Vacation, is known liar and probably tells Rush Limbaugh and Fox news what to say. He is unelected and accountable to no one. hmmmm….
oh… my evil o meter says adam is the most evil of all… wow.. sorry adam… your gonna have to abide by the patriot act.. so those pictures of Rummy and bushwhacker are gonna have to go.

I actually thought you were going to go for “the Democrats” instead of “the State Department” with that one. Works for both.

On my third time reading it, I just noticed the slightly pink tinge you gave to Bushy’s speech bubble. Very cute and innocent, just like Bush!

Adam, you really need to consider the occasional sound file. This funny is just crying out for a well-timed rim shot.

And now that I think about it, in combination with that puckish, jaunty Bush grin, some well-timed rim shots would be just the thing to transform those embarrassing presidential verbal bumbles into endearing, hilarious moments of comic relief.

As any good American knows in this post-Reagan age, a well-played laugh moment can hide a multitude of sins.
