The U.S. ambassador to Ankara put a multi-billion-dollar aid package to Turkey on the line on Tuesday… “Without the agreement there is no financial package,” U.S. ambassador Robert Pearson told reporters after talks with Prime Minister Abdullah Gul in the capital.

4See - I thought Republicans were at least good at making money. Don’t they know war is no longer good for the economy? Where’s the profit? I guess kick backs from defense contractors, all the expensive bombs and all. A cut of the oil, too. Shoot, maybe they will earn.

5that’s hilarious! thanks… ironic that our lovely spokesman ari was laughed out of a press conference last week after dismissing as ridiculous the suggestion that the US would bribe other countries.

6It’s the axis that began since the “history” post. The axis of “Where’s the cash?”, that includes at least Israel and Jordan besides Turkey.

7Hey c’mon you guys–fighting EVIL deserves high compensation! Don’t knock it. I think that Turkey is going to earn that money. Generally, those who struggle for good get big kickbacks. Look at how much money Gandhi made and stuff.

8Gandhi made all his money from merchandising, not from government kickbacks.
And hey, since when is bribery illegal?

9What kills me is we think we’re standing on some firm moral ground when we say “hey, $30 Billion is our final offer.”
$30Billion for the right to kill your neighbors.
How did we ever get here?????

10Yeah. I laughed till it hurt. Then I cried.
Let’s not forget Mexico in the list of axis of war for money. That needs a little catchier slogan. Work on that, wouldja, Adam?

11Hilarious! Especially loved the “call now!” box.
Hey guys! My apartment may be available, if you need to amass some troops in the West Village! Seriously, my bathtub could fit a nice arsenal and I will make chex mix to keep up the morale of the troops. Call me!

12Such cynicism. Why, the US has best friends money can buy. It works for Michael Jackson.

13But hey! You know, if we get Turkey to go along with us then they can invade Kurdestan and unite the Kurdish people–wouldn’t that be just GREAT??? And they would love it, wouldn’t they? Why, it would just be like North and South Korea uniting again. . .
